Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the "Notice on Announcement of the Results of Undergraduate Majors Recording and Approval in Universities in 2020", the Artificial Intelligence (080717T) and Chinese Medicine Resources and Development (100802) declared by our school were successfully approved. So far, the number of undergraduate majors of SDAEU has reached 30.

In recent years, SDAEU has closely matched the needs of local economic and social development, actively matched the "Eight Development Strategies" of Shandong, based on the development positioning and school characteristics, and actively deployed majors that meet the urgent needs of economic and social development and emerging industries, and continued to optimize majors structure. The new major application is the full implementation of the school’s "professional development plan" and the spirit of the Third Party Congress Meeting, and the implementation of major strategies such as "Internet +", "Made in China 2025" and "Rural Revitalization" around the country, and is an important measure for our school to actively carry out the research and practice of the construction of "new engineering" and "new agriculture", and to continuously optimize themajors layout.

The newly approved majors of Artificial Intelligence and Chinese Medicine Resources and Development, with the goal of cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents with innovative spirit and practical ability, will unite industry enterprises to further promote the continuous reform of teaching content, teaching methods and teaching methods, construct a talent training model that integrates production, education and research, and cultivate applied specialized talents required by the strategic emerging (pillar) industries in Shandong. The school will further increase the guidance and support for the construction of new majors, gradually improve professional conditions, lay a solid foundation and effectively ensure the quality of application-oriented talent training, strengthen the ability to serve local economic and social development, and strive to make greater contributions to local economic and social development.
