On February 6, SDAEU and Dingli Zhuoyuan (Shandong) Education Technology Co., Ltd. held a grand signing ceremony for the cooperation and construction of the School of Smart Agriculture Industry of Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University. School Party Secretary Ding Xibin, Deputy Party Secretary and President Wang Xikui, Party Committee Member and Vice President Yang Zhenning and Chairman of Shuangyuan Education Technology Group Wang Shanxin, General Manager of Dingli Zhuoyuan (Shandong) Pan Xinjian, Deputy General Manager of Dingli Zhuoyuan (Shandong) Sun Chuanbo attended the signing ceremony.
Ding Xibin said in his speech that the School of Smart Agriculture Industry is the crystallization of the two parties following the trend of integration of industry and education, consolidating the consensus of both parties, and giving play to their respective advantages. In October 2019, Shandong was identified as a national pilot province for the integration of industry and education. SDAEU and Dingli Company firmly seized the opportunity of national policies and actively explored forms of cooperation for the development of integration of industry and education. The cooperation between the two parties to build an industrial school is of great significance and has a broad and bright cooperation prospects.
Ding Xibin emphasized that the School of Smart Agriculture Industry should be guided by Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, closely centering on the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people, with the quality of talent training as the core, and highlight professional ethics; Focus on the quality of training and strengthen the characteristic positioning;Focus on the needs of the industry, emphasize professional competence, and continuously improve the fit between talent training and social needs, the professional competence of students and the satisfaction of employers; strive to build the School of Smart Agriculture Industry into a demonstration of integration between industry andeducation, contribute more to the implementation of the province to build a model for Qilu rural revitalization.
In his speech, Wang Shanxin, chairman of Shuangyuan Education Technology Group, said that the construction of the School of Smart Agriculture Industry will meet the local needs of Shandong, closely follow the industry, and gradually condense its characteristics in serving the regional economic and social development, and enhance the competitiveness and influence of talents training with professional characteristics of SDAEU. At the same time, facing the future, we will also highlight the important characteristics of quality, characteristics, and innovation in the education mode and effectiveness, strengthen theoretical innovation and practice summary, provide direction and guidance for the continuous exploration and innovation of the new era industrial school through the interaction between theory and practice. Dingli Education will integrate its own industrial advantages with university education and transform industrial experience into educational capabilities. With the core educational philosophy of "assisting universities and serving students", relying on the industry and educational resource system, it will help universities to build a regional,industrialized, innovative and practical talent system with characteristics of the times.
The first batch of enrollment majors for the the School of Smart Agriculture Industry are: Electrical Engineering and Automation, Software Technology, and Marketing. The enrollment plan will be 400 in 2021, and the annual enrollment plan will reach 500 since 2022.
The School of Smart Agriculture Industry will take the needs of modern and efficient agricultural talents and technology as the starting point, vigorously reform the talent training model, and focus on strengthening the cultivation of applied talents.
