From December 2nd to December 3rd, in order to assist the reexamination of Establishing National Civilized Cities, strengthen and consolidate the achievements of civilized cities, our school cooperated with the Communist Youth League Committee of Licheng District to launch the volunteer service activity of the reexamination of Establishing National Civilized Cities of Jinan.

At 6:20 in the morning, the sky was slightly bright. The young volunteers of our school have set off in an orderly manner and arrived near Hongjialou, Qilihe, etc., started the journey of civilization guide volunteerism at various bus stops such as Huayuan Road, East Road of Second Ring Road, Shanda Road, Hualong Road, etc.

Young volunteers are mainly engaged in maintaining order on buses, maintain environmental sanitation, place non-motorized vehicles, and stopping crossing roads at various bus stops. While directing traffic, young volunteers are always paying attention to the surrounding situation, extending a warm hand to those in need, and help elderly people with inconvenient legs to get on and off, and actively guide passengers who ask for directions, etc. At the Hongjialou bus station, Du Jiaqi, a volunteer of our school, picked up a resident ID card and handed it to the police in time to find the owner.

Our young volunteers added a bit of warmth to the harsh winter in the city. This volunteer service activity involved a total of 180 volunteers from our school. They used their practical actions to explain the spirit of volunteer service, and played the role of university volunteers serving the overall situation, contributing to society, and serving the public welfare, devoting our youth and power to Jinan's construction of a modern international metropolis of “Powerful, Beautiful and Fortunate”.
