On the morning of December 14, Chen Jun, Director of the East Asian region of the University of Western Scotland, and Margaret Allan, Director of the School of Education, visited our university. Tang Xin, Director of the School of International Exchange and Cooperation and a faculty representative of the School of Humanities attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Ms. Tang Xin, Director of the School of International Exchange and Cooperation, and Ms. Chen Jun, Director of the East Asian Region of the University of Western Scotland, briefed their institutions on their school development, colleges and professional settings and their faculty. The high degree of conformity of the professional settings of the two universities provides more possibilities on cooperation. According to the actual situation of our students, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the "3 + 1" dual degree program for undergraduate students, the "3 + 1 + 1" master degree program and exchange students (one semester) project. At the same time, Ms. Margaret, Director of the School of Education, also intended to establish a friendly faculty relationship with the School of Humanities of our university and conduct exchange programs for Business English majors. She also discussed in depth the details of the exchange program and other issues and laid down the implementation plan for the project basis.

Director Tang Xin once again expressed her gratitude to the delegation of the University of the West of Scotland, and Mrs. Margaret spoke highly of the two schools. Both sides also said they will continue to maintain close contacts and promote the signing of a friendly cooperation agreement between the two universities as soon as possible. This talk opened the door for cooperation and created a good start for the future cooperation between the two universities.
