Recently, the Zibo City Education Bureau announced the results of the first batch of brand professional construction projects in Zibouniversities. The Mechatronic Engineeringmajor (smart agricultural equipment) of our school was awarded the project and received financial support from Zibo City.

The approval of the brand major is an important achievement that our school has achieved for a long time by insisting on the cultivation of applied talents, vigorously strengthening the integration of the school and thelocal, and actively serving the economic and social development of the regional industry. The third Party Congress of our school established the goal of building a high-level modern application-oriented undergraduate university, and clearly pointed out that it is necessary to optimize the layout of disciplines and majors and actively serve the local. Based on its own advantages and professional characteristics, Mechatronics Engineering focuses on the needs of agricultural equipment professionals in Zibo and the needs of New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion Project, with the purpose of serving Zibo intelligent (agricultural) equipment,aims to train high-quality intelligent agricultural equipment engineers and rural revitalization builders, strengthens professional construction, and wins strong support from the local government. SDAEU will take the opportunity of being approved to match the resident brand majors, contrast with the brand major construction standards of universities in Zibo, strengthen its characteristics, continue to improve the quality of school majors, further improve the discipline and major construction plan, continue to improve the upgrading and transformation of traditional superior majors, and strengthen thedemonstration radiation of first-classprofessions and brand professions, comprehensively improve the overall level of professional construction and the quality of talent training, actively serve the rural revitalization strategy, serve the major transformation of New and Old Kinetic Energy Project in Shandong, and provide talent guarantee and intellectual support for the rapid development of the local economy.
