On the morning of June 18th, our school and Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering(CSAE) signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement" in Zibo Campus and held two academic reports: "Development and Outlook of China Agriculture and Engineering" and "How to Write High-quality Science and Technology Paper". Academician Zhu Ming, executive vice president of the CSAE, Researcher of the International Academy for Europe and Asia (IAEA), and Wang Yingkuan, secretary general of the CSAE, attended the signing ceremony and delivered the academic report. President Wang Xikui and vice-president Zhang Zhaoming attended the event. The Science and Technology Office, the Publicity Office of the party committee, the Personnel Office, the laboratory management center, some leading comrades from some colleges and more than 230 teachers and students participated in the seminar, which was chaired by Zhang Zhaoming.
Before the signing ceremony, Wang Xikui introduced the basic situation of the school, campus development layout, teachers, discipline construction, talent training and other aspects. Zhu Ming gave a brief introduction of the general situation and advantages of the CSAE, as well as the working mechanism of rural revitalization. The two sides held talks on accelerating the construction of innovation platforms and the gathering of innovation elements, and actively jointly building and cooperation, centering on technological innovation and development and the needs of "Attracting Investment and Talents". Through this event, the two sides have enhanced understanding and reached consensus, which has laid a foundation for the in-depth cooperation between our school and the CSAE.
After the signing ceremony, Academician Zhu Ming made an academic report entitled "Development and Outlook of China Agriculture and Engineering" for the teachers and students of our school. The report gives a detailed account of the development of the Chinese agricultural engineering discipline, the new situation it faces, the direction and trend of scientific and technological innovation, and the key tasks and objectives. Researcher Wang Yingkuan made an academic report entitled “How to Write High-quality Science and Technology Paper”for our teachers and students, which gives guidance to the teachers and students from the aspects of “The outline of the scientific papers”, “The preparation before the papers writing”, “The structure and writing of the papers”, “The contribution and the contact with the editors”.
In his concluding report, Zhang Zhaoming pointed out that not only is the name of ChineseSociety of Agricultural Engineering highly similar to that of our university, but the professional committees of the society are also highly compatible with the settings of the school and college, the establishment of a comprehensive strategic cooperative relationship between the two sides is of great significance to the development of agricultural engineering discipline in our school and the school’sexternal exchanges. The academic reports of the two expertshavebroadened the vision of our teachers, enhanced the strategic understanding of teachers and researchers on the frontier issues of related disciplines, and played an important role in guiding the development of agricultural engineering discipline in our school and the construction of the innovation platform. It is hoped thatschools of SDAEU will take this signing as an opportunity to take the initiative to liaise with the professional committee of the society and carry out substantive cooperation in the fields of discipline construction, scientific research platform construction, personnel training, scientific research and transformation of achievements, etc. , making full use of social resources to improve the ability of personnel training, scientific research and social service.
