On the afternoon of the 21st, the 2019th graduation ceremony of the China-Australia Cooperation Food Nutrition and Inspection was held in the lecture hall on the second floor of the training building of the Jibei Campus. Ms. Phoebe Chen, Director of the Australian Education and Training Association, Mr. Liam, Manager of Business Development, TAFE College, Australia, Zhang Zhaoming, Vice President of the University, Niu Huazhen, Director of the North Campus Management Committee, Tang Xin, Director of the School of International Exchange and Cooperation, Yu Kexue, Director of the School ofFood Science and Engineering, attended the ceremony, and all the students of the 2016th and 2017th of China-Australia cooperation Food Nutrition and Inspection attended the ceremony.
Ms. Phoebe CHEN spoke first and sent a message to thegraduation students who are about to embark on a job or continue their studies. They have always strengthened their beliefs, followed their own feelings and intuitions, and thirst for knowledge and humility. As an Australian representative and a teacher of the Australian side, Mr. Liam has deep feelings for the students. He believes that during the three years, the friendship between the students and the friends and teachers in the school has become an important chapter intheirlife.He hoped them tocontinue to have dreams and ambitions, be optimistic, work hard, and achieve more results.
At the ceremony,DirectorYu Kexue believed that the joint efforts of the teachers of both sides was the key to the success of the cooperation project, and expressed gratitude to the Gordon TAFE College for sharing teaching resources and providing excellent teachers toour school. At the same time,three years of training is of vital importance to students, making the graduating students more indomitable. Student representative Wei Yiling shared the three-year history of learning. From the complete strangeness of the Australian course to the excellent completion of all courses, thanks to the hard work of both the teachers ofour school and the Australian school, it is because of this experience that the application has been successfully applied and obtained of going to Deakin University in Australia for further study.
Vice-President Zhang Zhaoming expressed warm welcome to Ms. Phoebe CHEN and Mr. Liam from afar, and expressed sincere congratulations to the students who will receive the TAFE Diploma from TAFE College in Gordon, Australia. Zhang also said that in the future life journey, students must be firm in their goals, keep learning, and actively face the successes and failures in their lives. At the same time, Zhang expressed his gratitude to the teachers of both sides who have worked hard on Sino-Austrilia cooperation projects. It is the mutual trust and cooperation between the two sides over the years that will achieve today's achievements. He also hoped that the future cooperation will continue to flourish and blossom.
At last, Mr. Liam presented the TAFE Diploma in Food Nutrition and Inspection at the TAFE College in Australia for the students who passed the assessment and took a group photo. The graduation ceremony of the 2019th Food Nutrition and Inspection (China-Australia Class) ended in a cheering scream.
A total of 26 people in the 2016th Food Nutrition and Inspection (China-Australia Class), 25 of whom successfully completed the Australian course, received a TAFE diploma in Food Nutrition and Inspection from the TAFE College in Australia, and the Australian course passing rate was as high as 96%. Onehas successfully passed the application and will go to Deakin University in Australia for further study. Two have successfully passed the Top-up examination and will go to Haidu College of Qingdao Agriculture University to continue their undergraduate study.
